Hi There...
Im planning to go to Tioman somewhere next month but my problem is, i havent found a place to stay....Ive tot of Salang Sayang Resort....Can any1 give me more info on this place??And another thing....is it easy to get food at Salang??Cuz i plan not to take the resorts package..... |

Hello,
There are lots of travel agents in Mersing which can advise you on where to stay. Salang is the final stop, which means you don't have to worry about knowing where should you alight from the ferry. If I remember correctly, Salang Sayang is less than 150m from the beach. There are convenience stores, restaurants, a pub for you to choose from. Avoid the Chinese restaurant, they charge very expensively. If you're lucky, your resort might offer discounts on the snorkelling trip to Coral Island (low season only). Avoid swimming in the sea in the morning, water bugs are everywhere and they bite. cheers
