hello..me and my american bf wants to go to pagudpud..i just want to know which resort is better to stay at..saud beach resort or apo idon..i saw their websites and saud beach resort looks better than apo idon but want to know it from people who have stayed from those resorts..pics can be very deceiving you know..thanks

I say Apo Idon its better than Saud Beach Resort, a small resort but luxury in style. If you are a budget traveller and you want the coziness of home i suggest Polaris Beach House which is also located in Saud Beach all of this resorts are beach front. Enjoy your vacation. Saud beach resort could actually be too big for a couple like you. And the rooms are not necessarily fronting the beach. Apo Idon is okay too, we get good food from there (plus, recommended by Lonely Planet travel guide). Besides, they're too costly. Depends on your mood, if you're feeling romantic and all, stay in Polaris. It's more of a beach house than a resort, so makes you feel at home. And fronting the beach. Ate Mean, the owner, and the people there are aomodating too. If you need more info and pics about Polaris, let me know.
FYI: Since it's already peak season, the regular P800 room (with A/C, T&B) could be around P1200 now. Still way cheaper than that of Saud's and Apo idon's. Oh, i think the resort farther down the island ( i think it's called Josephine's-- not sure) could be a good one too. Read on the other Pagudpud tips on here too.

i agree with the two travellers who posted their reply... polaris is not only good for budget travellers but also polaris has nice and friendly staff and very accomodating.

apo idon is quite expensive and said beach.. try JUN & CAROL 09205740136 they might have a rate that might fit your budget and taste...enjoy pagudpud!

Definitely Apo Idon is the best place to stay! But don't just take my word for it, check their facilities, decide to stay with them and experience feeling great while having fun. Expensive as it is this peak season (they say until mid June)though if you are on a budget. You can wait for their very big discounts on room rates on low season. Cheers!

hi,i´m sure it´s to late to give u my advice but coz i´m from bangui living in germany.still sure to prefer saud beach,d sales clan have their hotel there.i´m sure the´ll take care of their clients too,especially for those who´s visiting d beach,k!?
