| Guanzhou | Hai Tao Hotel comments Posted: Tue March 4, 2008 11:04 AM UTC
Hi, I am planning to visit Guanzhou in April or May. I am considering to stay at Hai Tao Hotel, Tianhe District 208-210 Huang Pu Road West Tian He District.
The places I may visit include Shiang Xia Jiu Rd, Beijing Rd, Haizhu Square. Can someone please provide comments on this hotel. What about another hotel by the name of Guo Mao Hotel? Thanks for your help. |

NB Guanzhou is a district of Guangzhou.
There are oodles of hotels in Guangzhou. Tianhe is a very popular and fairly expensive shopping area, served by metro line 1 at station tiyu xilu. So I expect the hotels there are adequately good. Shiangxia 9 lu is mostly a pedestrian street, and is well-liked for its incredibly cheap clothes. One end reaches Beijing lu, the other end is close to Changshoulu underground also on line 1. Haizhu Square also runs into Beijinglu, and has its own metro station on line 2 - haizhu guangchang. A couple of good restaurants on the square, also buses to HK and Macau. And several shopping plazas, such One-link plaza, Bin Bin plaza etc.
