Hoi An Travel Forum

Hello, someone told me that there is a tour that take you along the river outside Hoi An visiting a potery village, a place for carpentry and also where they make popcorn, caramel, rice paper etc. but she wasn't sure if it was outside Hoi An or maybe Hue from where these trips can be booked. Does anyone know or has taken these tours? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you, Tira

I don't know about the rest but I certainly went along the river to visit a pottery village from HOI AN where can see the jars and things being made and buy stuff if you want.

Thank you, I was pretty sure the pottery village was on the boat tour back from My Son. What I really would like to find out is about the other couple of places. Tira

My Son is a drive there and back inland tour, no boat. I visited in one day all the other things but that was on the Mekong near Can Tho.

yeah, these villages are around Hoi An, and you can make one day tour. Thanh Ha is potery village next to Thu Bon river if you want to visit them you must get boat to visit that is nice and wonderful places. I have visited them 2 months ago.
