The Bayern Ticket is valid when you travel from Bavaria to Salzburg, so it is also valid the other way. But I'm not sure if you can buy it at Salzburg train station, you have to ask there.
I don't know Unsterberg. If it is in Bavaria and you can get there by RE,RB,IRE or any other local train, the Bavaria ticket is valid, but not on a cable car.
