Do u know of a computer bargain basement in Dublin?

I am going to Dublin next weekend and want to buy a keyboard.
A cheap and cheerful one is good enough.
Does anyone know where I can find a bargain computer shop in Dublin?

Hi Mel,

Dublin is not raelly a bargain shoppers paradise, but depends where you are coming from. Dunnes stores or Dixons would probabaly be your best bet.
(Would suggest you should put a little info on your profile like your country of origin. iT helps people answer your queries & also more people are willing to help people with info as a lot of blank profiles are just set up by spammers. just a suggestion take it or leave it) also maybe Game store.

PC World in Blanchardstown, Dixons is there too. The staff in Dixons are more knowledgeable.

Anyone know of a shop in the city centre where I can buy the keyboard. I am in Dublin for just a couple of days and a bit busy so want to get to the computer shop quickly and buy the keyboard so I can then get on with the other things I need to do. I live in Germany but am an English speaker so I want to get an English layout keyboard which is difficult to find here in Germany. I want to get it in Dublin because I dont know when I will be in an English speaking country again.

In response to the guy who thinks I should give more info about myself. I am from Ireland but dont live there. Hope that is enough info to keep u satisified for now. Will tell u more some other time if u want.

Mel, I would suggest Dixons in Jervis street shopping center (on jervis street) this is a few mins walk from city center. but be warned will be more expnsive than germany.

Maplin Electronics generally have good deals and tend to be cheaper than Peats of Parnell st around the corner.
It's situated next to the toy shop on Jervis St. just turn Right at Penneys on Mary St when walking from O Connell St.

I am now back from a great weekend in Dublin.
I got a keyboard and mouse in Maplin Electronics for 11.99 Euros altogether. So if anyone is looking for a bargain.....
