Ko Phi Phi Don Travel Forum

Hello,

I'm wondering what the availability of accomodations in Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta is in early July. I was planning on reserving a room online for the first night, and then looking around for other places if I'm not happy at this location.

Is it a problem finding available rooms this time of year? I'm assuming it's not since it is the low season. We will be looking for a 3-4 star resort with bungalows near the beach.

Don't think it will be a problem finding a room on Phi Phi Don but like you said turn up and book a room for one night and see what you fancy. the next day many people leave in the morning so that will be your best chance to view 3-4 star resort accommodations on phi phi.

Agree with previous VTer book first night and see what takes your fancy. We went in July a few years ago the weather was ok some rain but plenty of accomodation choices.

I don't know how on Phi Phi, but on Koh Lanta alot of resorts are closed during low season = much lower supply, as at low season you can't go to sea excusrison to neraby islands, that is one of the main activities. But most probaly what stays open should have rooms available.

I am not sure if boat Phi Phi to Koh Lanta runs during whole low season. Seas are rough at that time so boat trips are kept to min.
