Terschelling Travel Forum

We are going to Terschelling from March 20 to 21st.
Can we just go there and find something or do you
advice to reserve in advance?
I was searching by internet and I couldn't find a
B&B for 4 (we are 2 adults+ 2 small children 4 and 2 years old), it only showed prices for 2, but I'll continue searching.
Also if you have more information about what to see, what to do there...

In that website I was looking for accommodation, and I only saw for 2 people, but I think I can ask by an e-mail for the four of us. But I have seen that there different areas, which one will you reccommend? We have no car, we will arrive by public transportation.

Terschelling Hoorn,
Terschelling Oosterend,
Terschelling Midsland,
Terschelling West.

I would recommend staying in West Terschelling; that is where the ferry from the mainland will arrive. (Although the distances on the island are not that big anyway).

Best to rent a bike fore your transport and sightseeing.

I've seen that this is a good place to go around in a bike, but my children are too small, 2 and 4 years old. Can we go by bus to the places ?

There are local busses on the Island. Same ticket (Strippenkaart) as in use all over the Netherlands.
