I am going to Bishkek in 2 weeks time and had not sought any medical precautions yet. This has been an oversight on my part. I do not expect to be doing an rural travelling although was considering visiting Osh. I am spending 3 weeks in Bishkek in order to improve my Russian. Can anyone give me advice on what i should do? Cheers

You need to see your doc tomorrow mate, its not great out there, there’s TB and there are regular outbreaks of Hepatitis A, meningitis and brucellosis. Oh, and malaria in the outskirts of Bishkek.
NHS Direct should tell you what vaccinations you need for Kyrgyzstan. www.dh.gov.uk And have a look at the London hospital: http://www.thehtd.org/travel/destination.asp?DocID=213

Cheers mate, got an appointment. Really shouldn't have left it so late in the day. Staying in central Bishkek and a few days in Almaty so avoiding most rural parts - hopfully be ok!
