Do have a look at the VT Torino pages: you will find lots of tips and information about places to eat, things to see etc.
http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel/Europe/Italy/ You will need a visa if you wish to visit Switzerland (assuming you are an Indian citizen). Search the site below for 'visa': the documentation is then downloadable: http://www.eda.admin.ch/eda/en/home/reps/asia/vind (the Swiss Embassy in New Delhi)

For a vegetarian restaurant you could try 'Il Punto Verde',
Via San Massimo 17 +39-011-885543 http://www.il-punto-verde.it Their website is in English and Italian. Look on http://www.happycow.net/europe/italy/turin/index.html for info on vegetarian food in health food stores, in case you want to cook sometimes instead of eating out every day.

Hi Ashish,
The most italian restaurants have also vegetarian food. So this would be a very little problem. On the net I've found this list about Torino Veg rest.: IL PUNTO VERDE via San Massimo 17 011 885543 IL RISTORO DEI MERCANTI via dei Mercanti 6 011 5613970 MEZZALUNA BIOBAR p.za Emanuele Filiberto 8/d 011 4367622 SESAMO'S KITCHEN via Saluzzo 23/bis 011 655548 Where to find a pub in Torino? Everywhere. The best places where hang on nowadays are in "Quadrilatero Romano" district (in the ancient part of the city) and "Murazzi" district (along Po river). If you want to meet some local VTrs (as I am) do your homework... Is not a good presentation this line on your page "This member has not yet built his/her Homepage. Please check back later."
