Depends on how many runs they score. A typical game is around a 1 45 minutes to 2 1/2 hours. I would lean to over 2 hours now, due to the between innings TV advertising.
Have fun.

Usually you can plan on 3-4 hours all in. The minimum time is about 3 hours, but that's only if it's a low-scoring game with not many pitching changes. 3.5 hours is about average. But remember, a baseball game can run on for MUCH longer if there's a lot of runs scored, and if it goes into extra innings (if the game is tied after 9 innings, they just keep playing more until someone wins).

You are of course allowed to get up and leave at any time if you get bored or tired!

Assuming no extra innings, 2 1/2 to 3 hours. If you think it is too long and don't feel like going, I'll take your tickets :-)

You should know that Red Sox tickets are just about the hardest to get in baseball.

Have fun!

My mistake, seems the "average" game is now more typically 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours. Last numbers I could find, the average game in 2002 was a incredibly slow 2:58.
They have been trying to speed the game up, but with TV advertising, and "prima donna" players it's getting rather slow.
But you still will enjoy the game and the atmosphere, if you get bored, leave when you wish.

That's great that you will be seeing the Red Sox play during your stay in Boston. The games usually last 3 hours. Are you purchasing these tickets in advance? I hope so! May you enjoy the game!

I'd say about 3 hours. If you want to have a beer or drink, do it outside of Fenway, soo expensive inside. The Baseball Tavern, one block from Fenway on Boyleston St is good, and they have a roof-top bar with nice views. Have fun Garrett ps, who are they playing?
