I'm planning with my cousin, to do a trip in April for a week, and we are looking for an accomodation in Shannon, near Airport, for 1 night (25 th April). If someone can help us...

SHANNON is little more than the airport (and the river, of course). The nearest town is Limerick, if I recall it correctly.

Is thenight you are looking for lodging the night prior to your departure? If so, then stay in Bunratty which is a 15 minute drive from Shannon Airport. Bunratty lodge, http://www.bunrattylodge.com/,is a delightful place to stay. Mary Browne is a real sweetheart. Her Brown Bread is absolutely delicious! The rooms are comfortable and well cleaned.

We stayed at the Park Inn at Shannon Airport--a two minute walk across the driveway from Terminal 2. It was the perfect spot for a one-night stay before we began a tour. The breakfast was delicious, the accomdations clean and comfortable. Despite being next to the airport we found our rooms to be very quiet.
