I looked through all your hotel tips for Ankara but did not find any hotel at or near the Ankara international airport. Can anyone recommend a hotel that is cheaper than the Büyük Anadolu hotel?
Are there several hotels (preferably not too expensive) near the airport?
My plane arrives early evening and I have my connecting flight the next morning. So I would prefer to stay near the airport. Any suggestion is welcome.

The Esenboga airport is far from the city center, so there is only two hotels near (5 minutes), the Büyük and the Esenboga hotel. These are not cheap hotels.
You must know also that the cost of a taxi is Ankara is outrageous. From the city center to the airport, it take 30 minutes to go to the airport and cost between 90 YTL and 100 YLT!
So when you enquire about the price of a room, ask too for the price of a transfert to the airport (it can make a big difference).
Depending at wich hour your flight is in the morning, it may be less expensive to stay in an hotel in the city center and take the Havas bus (10 YTL) from the ASTI (bus terminal)to the airport (45 minutes).
You must also know that the Esenboga airport is always empty! Nothing to compare with Istanbul. Arriving two hours before you flight is more than enough.
Oh, and one last thing: except in touristic areas, most hotels in Turkey never reply to email. You may have more luck in calling.
