Hi,

I just need to get some info about mobile # and transportation.

1 - I would like to know if I can use my etisalat mobile # in Bahrain.
Or do I have to register or subscribe it?

2 - Another thing, is it easy to get a bus ride from the airport to the city?
Or I can only take a taxi from there? How much would it cost to take a bus? or taxi? I'll stay in Marine Tower (formerly Baisan Tower) located in Exhibition Road.

By the way, I am a Filipino passport holder but with a UAE residence visa. Do I still need to apply for a visa?

To my knowledge there are no buses from Airport to Hotel, you need to take a Taxi which might cost you around BD5.00 if you bargain well else they may charge you BD8.00. You can buy calling cards which are much cheaper for making international calls.

Bus Transportation from the airport: NO WAY
You can go by taxi, cost from 5 BD's To 10 BD's it depends if your coming at night or day.
Mobile : you can buy a Zain sim card here it will cost you 8 Bd's and you have 6 Bd's credit, its cheaper for you than the dubai sim card, '

If Yu have an etisalat connection with international roaming facility, you can make/receive calls and send/receive sms while in Bahrain. For receiving sms you wont be charged anything.

if u use uae mobile will cost much.u can get sim card only at the rate of 1.500bd.U only can hire taxi to exb.road will cost 5.00bd.u no need to apply for visa.Best of journey.

Hi, i came across your queries re your trip to Bahrain. I will be traveling to Bahrain this coming Saturday. Maybe you can share with me the immigration requirement. I am Filipino as well with existing UAE residence, was it easy to go through the immigration. I was told that there is no need for visa application and visa can be granted at the airport upon arrival. How true is it? would really appreciate your response. Thanks alot
