Does Taipai have any American Food Restaurants? If so, where do I find information.

I do not have a specific answer for you.

But, given the number of American professionals who are temporarily or permanently living in Taiwan, you are almost certainly going to find a TGIFridays or a Hard Rock Cafe without any trouble, when in a major city like Taipei.

Some Americans, even when they are not in America, insist that wherever they are be made as much like America as is possible. There are always little enclave areas which cater to this habit.

As an American, one key reason I travel is to get *away* from the cliched repetitiveness of contemporary American food and American culture, and to experience something new and different, but tastes vary.

"skylark" sells American food too... And there are some branches in Taipei

You may find countless American style food in Taipei, no worry about it.
Walk around the 2nd floor of Taipei train station, around or in any department store, you always could find what you want. ^ ^

TGIF,Wendy's,Macdonalds,Burger King,Domino's,Pizza Hut.Ponderosa are all available in Taipei. American food in all Major Hotels.
Local coffee houses like Dante,IS Coffee, Barista Coffee e.t.c.
American fare is quite common in Taipei City.
