Hi there,
We arrive in HCMC May 21 2008 and want to fly to Hanoi as soon as possible. We are hoping to fly from HCMC to Hanoi about May 22/23 What is the cheapest way to do it ? Approx cost ? I understand there are 2 airlines that fly this route. Should we internet book or just find an agency when we get there. Any help appreciated ! |

We booked in Hanoi three days before we wanted to fly to HCMC through our guesthouse. One way on Vietnam Air was around $70 US. You can try to book online (we had some problems with the web interface, though) or you can call the airline direct, book through your guesthouse, book directly at the airport or book at a Airline office in Hanoi.

Pacific Air does have online booking, Vietnam Air has promised it will have online by June (but they have announced a number of times over the past few years). That said it's pretty easy to get a flight the day before through the booking office next the peoples commitee down here.
