Hi
I'm organising a meeting for music fans prioir to a gig on Sunday 13 April 2008. I'm looking for a bar that opens early on a Sunday, and preferably serves food. The gig starts at 3.30 hence the need for early opening - we are not (all) mad beer drinkers! Would appreciate any advice! TDFAN |

Looks like most café's/bars open at noon.
It seems Café Wilhelmina is catnl's favorite and who am I to doubt a local expert :) PJ

what time to do wanna eat? opposite the station you can have breakfast early in the morning or at:
La Place HeuvelGalerie opens at 9 am: http://www.laplace.nl/Vestigingen/Vestiging/xp/Ves at night there are enough small and big cafetaria opened at Stratumseind. where is the gig? PJ Wilhelmina is indeed one of my favourite pubs but....they dont serve food at night/morning:-)

i forgot Bagel and Juice also opened early 8 am, sunday 9.30 am

The concert is at the TU. (Tangerine Dream) I understand PSV are playing on the 13th and that the pubs around the train station may be busy so Cafe Wilhelmina would be a good choice. My only disappointment is that I emailed them some time ago to ask if they could accomodate about 30 - 40 people and they have not replied! I really appreciate your assistance guys. Cheers TDFAN

That's very kind of you, but as I was needing to confirm a venue a few days ago I have now chosen O'Shea's Irish Bar for the meeting - it seems big enough to accomodate our party and I have posted your tips for eating places for those wishing a bite.
