Hi All,

I'll reach Jakarta at 1000pm++, after checkout I guess 1100pm. How to get accommodation at this particular hour in Central Jakarta or any budget accommodation around the Jakarta Airport Terminal 2?
Since Next day, I planning to visit Bandung, better to stay in Central Jakarta, take the train to Bandung? Or stay nearby Terminal 2, fetch a mini van to Bandung. Your advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

If you are looking or a budget accommodation, you should go to Jalan Jaksa and Jalan Wahid Hasyim in Menteng, Central Jakarta. That area is close enough to Gambir Train Station where you get the train to Bandung.
The problem is, there is no more cheap, affordable, and secure transportation to the city at the time you arrive. The only way is to take taxi, which fare can be expensive.
There is no budget accommodation near Terminal 2. You still have to leave airport area to find budget to cheap hotel. So I suggest to stay at Central Jakarta.
Or, you can go straight to Bandung by taxi (mini van) that you can booked from the airport. They still operate until the last flight.

there is a transit hotel at terminal 2. you may stay overnight there and check out to bandung by minivan directly from terminal 2 early next morning. it's the budget hotel compare to sheraton hotel just at the outskirt of the airport area. if you need to go to the city after midnight please ask for bluebird or silverbird (same group) taxi. they are giving better service to users compare to other companies and they have their own desk at terminal 2. fare to midtown after midnight hours approx. usd 16 / rupiah 150.000.
