Hi Frank,
The link below may help. There are heaps of photos of Vung Tau city and its nearby areas. Take time to ceck al of pages as there are about 44 pages. Members of this forum update information and photo quite regularly. The last page (page 44) shows the latest pics of the city. Having said that, other pages show very recent photos od the city as well. You know Brisbane and GoldCoast in a way is similar to SaiGon and Vung Tau. Saigoners go to Vung Tau for their weekends. It is quite touristic and nice. There temperature this time of the year should be cool. Take the hydrofoil from Saigon to Vung Tau may be faster. If you go there by bus or taxi, there are things to see along the way. I like both roadway and water way. Have agreat time Mate Cheers
