What is the best way to travel from Bilbao airport to San Sebastian?

There is a bus service from the airport to Bilbao, run by the public transport company Bizkaibus. Single ticket 1.25 euros. Journey time: 20-25 minutes. Starts at 6ish, every half an hour. The final stop is at TERMIBUS, the intercity bus terminal. PESA (www.pesa.net) is the bus operator to San Sebastian. Ticket: 9.20 euros single. Journey time about 1 hour, 20 mins. Start at 6:30, one every half hour during morning and afternoon peak times, one every hour throughout the day during weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays frequency is lower, but there are still quite a few. Last bus leaves Bilbao at 22:00.
So it is pretty straightforward.

Thanks everyone. I ended up getting a cab ride, didn't have to pay. I loved Spain, loved the food, loved the scenery, loved the people, loved the cider, wine, everything! I was at the ocean when the waves came up on the promenade in San Sebastian, my hotel was right there. It was really amazing. The few days of rain did not bother me.

I hope to return in the summer if i am lucky!

I can't remember the name of the hotel right now. It is right on the promenade. I think Londres....
