Hi

7 nights in Interlaken may be too long depending on what you want to do. I found other towns around there nicer such as Grindelwald and Murren. People go to this area in summer to take in the mountains (Eiger, Jungfrau etc.) and hike. If you want to do that then you should, in my opinion, try the towns I mentioned or others in the area. You won't see these mountains from Interlaken but are accessible as day tours. Grindelwald etc will be a bit more expensive for accommodation but its a cute village and you are right in the mountains. Murren is a car free town and a bit tricky to get to (train to Lauterbrunnen then mountain railway to Murren) but it is a town which is very Swiss and has the Schilthorn Aerial Cableway which was used in filming the original James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". Check the Following sites for info on prices etc.

You should advise what activity you are interested in so that we can answer more fully.

As an aside, and applicable to a lot of VT members, is that it is advisable to at least stipulate where you are from on your home page. This makes answering questions easier especially to do with pricing.

Bear in mind that the Euro 08 starts on the 7th of June 2008. Everything might get very expensive...

Normally that should be the ap. prices:

Beer/Coffee arround 4 CHF
Light lunch (warm meal) arround 20-30 CHF
Evening meal arround 25- CHF
