| Cornwall | Where to stay in Cornwall/Newquay Posted: Wed February 27, 2008 12:57 PM UTC
Hi there,
My partner and our two children (8 and 2) are planning on spending a week or two in either Cornwall or Newquay this Summer. We would ideally like to stay in a log cabin/static mobile home on a lively site that has lots of entertainment/activities for the children both in the day and evening, swimming pool, park and would REALLY appreciate your help. Many thanks in advance. |

hi there, i used to travel to newquay quite often and usually stayed at trevalgue (I think thats how its spelt) campsite, which has static caravans and camping pitches, it also has a swimming pool and club house and is not that far from a small beach, costs about £4 in a taxi into newquay.
be aware though that the sites can be very noisey in the summer with teenagers and students on their holidays, run to the sun in may is brilliant and if you could get their then im sure the children will love it

The spelling is Trevelgue and it's at Porth, the site that ticks most of your boxes is Hendra tourist park about a mile out of the centre of Newquay.
