Does anyone have any rants or raves about liveaboards in Palau? We're headed there for a dive trip in July.

When I was in Palau, I only did day dives... but I did 7 days worth of them, all at 2~3 tanks per day. I had a great time, but did feel pretty tired at the end.
I've done liveaboards at other places (like Maldives, Fiji, Thailand/Burma, Red Sea) and can tell you that for that many days diving, a liveaboard is truely the way to go. Its much more relaxed, you'll keep you energy levels higher. Only down side is lack of time to explore the on-land parts. My stepdad has also done a liveaboard in Palau. According to him, it was better than our week of land-based diving. I don't know the name of the boat he went on.

My husband did just day dives before and said that he felt like he was missing out... so thats why we are doing the liveabord this time. I just want to get a feel for some of the dive ops. Thanks!

Well for what its worth, I'm glad I could help. On my pages I listed two dive sites that I thought were wonderful and unique to Palau. Obviously there are many more. Regardless of which way you dive (via liveaboard or not), you can see both of these.
