Haarlem Travel Forum

We are going to be in Haarlem in mid-April and wonder when the St. Bavo organ concerts are scheduled? We heard Tuesday and Thursday, but is this correct? Also, what time of day are the concerts? Is there a charge?

Too bad--they list nothing until mid-May. To hear the stupendous organ you might consider attending services. You can also ask at the office when/if lessons are taught there. When I was a student at the conservatory in Amsterdam we had occaisional all-morning master classes there, and a good measure of the students are seasoned performers.

Entrance to just visit the church and have a look at the organ is 2 euro.

Thank you all for your very helpful information! I'm so glad to learn about the concerts not being in April, as we were planning our trip to be there on Tuesday! We will see the church and hope that someone will be practicing!
