Hi.. I'll be going to perhentian this march.. am thinking of staying at tunabay.. still undecided to take fullboard package or room+bf only.. which one is more worth it?
Want to get some opinions here.. How about d price of ala-carte food in tunabay? Are there any other restaurants nearby?

There aren't many eating choices on the island. We wound up eating most of our mels at Tuna Bay but went down to the other smaller 'shacks' a couple of times just to try different things. Prices are comparable everywhere.

Tuna's restaurant is maybe the best, maybe one of the worst is the one at PIR.
From PIR, after the Coral (3 minutes walking), close at Thai BBQ, on beach there is a restaurant (maybe this word is too pompous) where with few ringitt you eat very well.

If you feel that you don't want to trouble yourself on finding food, then, I would advise you on taking the Full Board. Normally my trip to Perhentian Island is full board.
