hi,
i want to know the distance between niagra falls toronto (ontario)and niagra falls usa.which part is better.and how to get there from niagra falls toronto.Is there any port of entry or what pls help.

the two towns are separated by just the International Bridge perhaps a mile apart and the dividing line between the two countries runs right down the middle (more or less) of the falls. By port of entry, I assume you mean international airport. Both Buffalo NY and Toronto Ontario are international airports, but Toronto will have by far the better international service. The Canadian side is considered the better side for tourism, dining, hotels, etc.

The official distances between towns are measured from city hall to city hall and in this case it's 2.7 km

but as stated above, they are just separated by a bridge across the niagara gorge which is about 300 metres long (I think one is still allowed to walk across).

Niagara Falls can be accessed by rental car and driving the 130 km's or by train (www.viarail.com) or by coach bus

The Canadian side is definitely more alive than the American side with more fun and entertainment businesses. The cheapest way is to catch a casino bus from the casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario to Toronto.

actually i wanted to ask how do i get there from canadian part(niagra falls) to US part.Do i neend a passport to enter US part of niagra falls? is there any border Control ? as i m german national i do not need a visa to enter US and Canada.

in all honesty, there are very few reasons to see the US side of the falls. All the action is on the Canadian side. Do look into visiting Niagara on the Lake if you have a car.
