Easy , bring your mobile along. Go to one of the 3 providers. Register...

-Base
-Proximus
-mobistar...

Base is the most easy I think. You can even reload at a cashdispencer , easy.

Shops can be found in the main shopping areas. (meir antwerp , lange nieuwstraat- brussels are the largest)

If you already have a phone and a card, you might use it here (If roaming with your current company exists).

If you want to call in Belgium it's cheaper to have a card here, but to call to Indonesia I don't know if it is cheaper to call with a Belgian card or an Indonesian card.

You will have to check it (operators are ordend by size of the company):
www.proximus.be
www.mobistar.be
www.base.be

Hope this helps,
Mark

You will have a new number...

For calling Indonesia I suggest you go to a 'wartel' , or u buy a card for cheaper calls.

Ooohh youve been to Indonesia before, Frank, and did something in wartel too :))

And Mark, maybe any suggestion, which one better to take? Yes i will use it only local calling in belgium, not to Indonesia. Otherwise i will take Franks's advice on wartel or cheaper card.

They are all decent. Proximus is the largest and has most guaranteed reception. Their pre paid card is called Pay & Go. But be sure to check out their sites to see which one does promotional stunts. It can get you up to 60 free calling minutes.

I used to work for Proximus, so I can only give you information about this operator.
Your first Pay and Go (prepaid) card will cost you 25€ ( 15€ activation costs and 10€ credit) and is valid during 1 year. You'll have a new number. After your card is used, you can reload with cards of 12,50€ , 25€ or 50€. If you reload for 50€ you always get 5€ for free.
You can reload via scratch cards, via a public phone or via a cash distributor.

Greetz,

Els
