Any ideas? I can't seem to think of anything in particular that Manila offers as a delicacy.
Help naman - is for my niece's project :D |

Is it Manila only or Metro Manila? If MM, balut is considered a delicacy. If Manila only, how about hopia from Binondo?

kakanin from the eastern cities (marikina, pasig, antipolo)
Aidz, ung omelette na mabaho pero masarap, ano na nga yon? from pateros? Pancit ni Ado of Pasig. Pag Manila lang mismo...lechon sa laloma... di ba manila yun? and aida is correct the ones from binondo like hopia, tikoy, lojua. Halu-halo di ba?

Yikes, I'm probably too late to contribute to this conversation, but, I remember after midnight mass and Mom buying puto bumbong, bibingka with cheese, sapin-sapin, puto and cuchinta. This was in the late 70's. Hope they still sell those delicacies. In Marikina they have also the best Arroz caldo.
