I am coming into Chennai for business late Saturday night, and would like to pick up a SIM for my unlocked mobile phone - Can anyone tell me if Airtel stores are open on Sunday, or will I need to wait until Monday?
I am staying at the Park Sheraton and am also curious if they sell SIM there - several "business-focused" hotels I have stayed in in the past offered this service. Thanks! |

You can get a new sim from the airport itself. There you can fnd counters of mobile operators. Shops around park sheraton are open sundays too. You can get sim cards from almost all shops in Indian Cities.

Hi there,
i believe the Park Sheraton provides the same facility if not, there is ONE Airtel show room quiet close to the Hotel and it is open on sunday, you would have to provide some ID proof to get a sim, there would not be a hassle. have a fine holiday. LEO.
