could anyone please advise if they have been in july ans what weather they experienced, i realise its rainy season but i just wanted to know how badto expect the rainfall and if it pours for days on ends or just short downpours. thanks for any help xx

I spent a month in Pataya in July and saw rain intermittently but not frequently. When it did, it happened late afternoon, early evening and lasted btwn 30 mins to an hour or so. Again, these are averages.

You can expect hot, humid days and warm humid nights.

Pours continually, no sunshine for days at a time, floods up to the second floor of hotels! Only kidding!

Yes, it will rain but the rain usually ends in an hour or two and the sun comes out again! You will have plenty of sun to give you a tan! Take a small fold up umbrella with you in case you are caught out.

Rain gives you an excuse to hit a bar, shop or visit a mall, stop at a restaurant of catch up on your sleep!

In June there will be fewer tourists, but millions will still visit but not like December or January! You can get some good prices on hotels and the hotels are on "low season" pricing anyway!

thats great guys thanks for ur help, almost paniced with the second response though ha ha, as long as i get a tan thats the main thing he he, going to dubai before bangkok and pattaya, so ill probably be thankful for some rain after the sweltering heat there!!

hi , was there last july myself and going back next july , you will still have the sweltering heat as it is very humid , intermittent rain not lasting long , not a great deal of sunshine though
