You can check the following Hotels:
1. Hotel Rembrandt, it's in Tomas Morato. Just a few minutes from ABS-CBN. 2. Camelot hotel, it has a castle-like facade located at Mother ignAcia. 3. Century Imperial Palace Suites, just a few minutes from Hotel Rembrandt. it's in timog avenue, corner Tomas Morato. 4. Aberdeen Court - It is just along Quezon Avenue. It's just about 5-10 minutes ride from ABS-CBN. With regard to getting to the WOWOWEE show, I suggest you caLL the PR department of ABS-CBN. If you're a "balikbayan" and has TFC channel, that's an advantage. As far as I know, if you have the TFC channel, they won't charge you.

The last time i stayed at Century Imperial Palace Suites, they had package tours, including tickets to shows like wowowee...check them out!

I forgot the number of the PR department but you can try this: (02)414-59-59 and just asked them the # of the PR DEpt or just request them to connect you to direectly to the PR Dept and you can start inquiring about getting to the Wowowee show.
We'll goodluck then. Sorry, but I don't have numbers of the hotel. You can check the their websites though

if your bf is a TFC subscriber, he can get tickets at his home country (easier than getting it here)
wouldn't really recommend camelot hotel - it has a become a "motel" of some sort.

I believe Aberdeen is now renamed Great Eastern Hotel. Their rates are quite reasonable but Rembrant is nearer to ABS-CBN. Goodluck with Wowowee :)
