| Honolulu | Reasonably Priced Great Meal in Chinatown Posted: Sun February 24, 2008 01:40 AM UTC
My mom & I took the bus through Chinatown today on the way to/from the USS Arizona Memorial. It's much bigger than I remember - which is a good thing.
When we go for lunch there, which 2 to 3 restaurants would you recommend? Dim Sum would be our preference but not a necessity if there's something spectacular that is non-Dim Sum. Would prefer prices in the $ to $$ range, if possible. Robert |

Hey Robert,
I'm only replying here because I can't remember if I covered these places in my emails to you so here goes. I really like Little Village Noodle House. It has a huge menu but everything I've had is fresh and authentic. For maunapua (dim sum) that is take out (but great for picnics or to take back to the condo to be heated up later) is Char Hung Sut. Mei Sum is touted to be pretty good in Chinatown for sit down dim sum but I've never been there. Check out this thread for dim sum choices around Honolulu: http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/specials/bestres
