Three generations of Gustafsons are going to Sweden for the first time. Karlskrona is where our grandparents departed for the USA. We are interested in things to see and do there (non museum). It would be fun to track down some relatives. Any special food or drink in Karlskrona?

Hi,
Karlskrona is in the Bleking region and they have a genealogy society that you could ask for help with the relatives. Keep in mind that Gustafson (Swedish spelling, Gustavsson, Gustafsson, Gustavson) is a common name and they would probably need to know as much info as possible to be able to help you (full name, emigrated which year, married which year etc etc). You can contact them here, http://www.blekingesf.se/bb/suggest.php or at blekingesf@yahoo.se According to the phone book there are 1126 Gustavssons in Karlskrona and 2392 in all of Blekinge.
