Global bay is no longer.. Pentronas bought the land .. building knocked down and a petrol station will appear |

No .. I think it's a sad thing .. lots of people have lost their way of making a living and Batu Ferringhi sure does need more than just one Hawkers Centre .. Long Beach cannot handle the crowd

Well, Penang's famous hawker centres are drawing cards in terms of tourist dollars - and to put a stop to so many people's livelyhood is to me a poor call.

Long beach must be even more packed than normal.
I always prefer long beach anyway (spring roll lady is a god in my eyes). It is a shame that Global has gone although it was never as busy as long beach
