If you like going to a museum there is the Royal Ontario Museum or ROM. They've got a great exhibit on world culture. Admission is 20 dollars for adults and 14 dollars for children. Hours are Monday to Thursday and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 530pm. Fridays are half price admissions and they are open from 10am to 930pm.
If you like to go shopping there is Queen Street West or the Eaton Centre. Or go catch a hockey or basketball game at the ACC

If the weather is at all good, you might take a harbour tour. There is also a hockey museum.

Toronto is good as a base for taking day trips/or longer to see the Niagara Falls area, also for trips to Montreal and Ottawa.

If art interests you, the McMichael Collection in Kleinburg (NW Toronto) is worth seeing.

Here are a few things:

- Royal Ontario Museum : take the subway to "Museum". Its new spectacular "crystal" wing is now open.
- Hockey Hall of Fame - good interactive museum about ice hockey, corner of Yonge and Front
- Bata Shoe museum - shows the history of shoes; take subway to St. George
- Eaton Centre for shopping; Yonge and Dundas to Yonge and Queen
- new City Hall - Queen and Bay; old city hall is beside it
- Queen's Park - Richardsonian architecture - this is Ontario's Parliament; take the subway to "Queen's Park"
- Toronto Zoo - this is one of the best in the world and is HUGE. It is a long way from downtown, but you can get there by subway and bus
- take a ferry out to Ward's Island to see cute little cottages on an island in Lake Ontario; the view of downtown from the ferry is really good
