Opening times here:

Have just checked on http://www.kings.cam.ac.uk/visitors/current.html You are lucky: it will be open until 4.30pm on 12th April this year.

If I remember correctly, entrance fee to the chapel was £9. The chapel is very impressive, but with just 30 minutes you'll have to rush through it and £9 seems a bit much for that.
Why don't you pay a student to take you punting and see the colleges from the water? This depends on the weather, of course. I liked it very much.

We went to the Eagle twice, had the specials of the day. They were around £10 and very good.

Parking in Lions Yard difficult on a Tuesday morning, after this we were lucky and had a private parking spot, so I don't know about Saturday. But I don't think it's easier, as there simply aren't enough parking spots in this area.

Another pub with very good food is the Kingston Arms Pub. The food was excellent, better than in the Eagle actually. It's more expensive than the Eagle, also not in the city centre.

I looked at the price we paid for the chapel, it was £ 9 for two. The chapel is very interesting, I hope you'll have time enough to see it.

It might be worth noting that while the Kingston Arms is an excellent place, serving a wide range of British beers, it is quite some way from the majority of things to do in Cambridge. However, the Mill Road area (close to which it is situated) is among the more interesting of the city, so worth a visit if you have time.

If you want to eat by the river I recommend the Granta which is near Lammas land. Its opposite the Mill and the Garden House Hotel by the punts.

For somewhere out of the central area with free parking the best place for home cooked food, friendly service, good drinks is the BURLEIGH ARMS on Maids Causeway, backing onto Midsummer Common. From there you can stroll olong the Cam and view the many Boat Houses. Meals around £5-6 and you get a plate full. Speak to Lucy she will sort you out
