Have a look at:
http://maps.google.nl/maps?hl=nl&lr=lang_en&am you could then use googlemaps or www.viamichelin.com to determine distance between the various gyms and your accommodation. In German, a gym is Sportschule or search for Fitness or Gym as well.

I'm not sure about the adolf butenandt strasse though. Have you got the spelling right?

I do not know gyms in Bremen but I would not google for Sportschule as Sportschulen normally are advanced training centres and not gyms. Sometimes, but not very often, the word Sportschule is used for martial arts centres which could also feature a gym.
In German the expression Fitness-Studio is most commonly used for gyms. I think this could help your google search.

Kakapo is right. However, the google results on Sportschule give names that clearly show what kind of gym or sporting school it is.
As I said above, Bremen + Fitness + Gym are also good google keywords.

Often you have to become a member for at least a month - but if you make clear that you are a visitor they will always find a deal for you.
My former gym in the south of Germany charges between 7.50 and 10 Euro for a single visit. When I visited another region they said I could exercise for free... So there are quite some differences. The monthly rate is about 50 tp 60 Euro, unlimited training. Some gyms offer a ten tickets book for about this price.
