Nairobi Luggage storage

Hi, I'm volunteering in Kenya 30th March to September but was hoping to do some travelling in East Africa before I start. The only problem is that I will have 2 sets of luggage, 1 of which will be work clothes/materials that I'd prefer not to lug around on my travels. Does anyone know anywhere I could safetly store a suitcase thats near, if not in, Kenyatta airport? I may be travelling 2-4 weeks so not sure how long hostels would be willing to hold onto it for me.

Here is a useful website for the facilities available in airports, and according to them there is a left-luggage service at Jomo Kenyatta. There's also an email address for the aiport, so you can contact them directly for further details:

There is a provision for luggage storage in Nairobi. This is at Mobi-World along Accra road. Storage for a maximum of 8 weeks only. Should not be very big luggage. Contact person is Mr David email is divadmu@yahoo.com

hi there,
luggage shouldnt be a problem tho
sometimes you need place you can trust.
try the nairobi ymca they charge 60kes per nite
per piece.
enjoy your travels in east africa without too much luggage to worry about.
