hi..
i'm planning to go JB next month. I will arrive at JB by 9.30 pm and planning to crossing Spore directly. My question are (coz it's more than 1): - what transportation is still available? and can i get the schedule? - is there direct bus from JB airport to Spore? - is it better for me to staying 1 night at JB & crossing the next morning? - which hotel is the nearest from airport or bus/ train station? i thing i'm asking to much question. but i will appriciate if any of you can help me. thank you. |

- You can check the "Causeway Link Schedules" on this page
http://www.senaiairport.com/travellers.asp?menuid= or get the airport taxi to the City Lounge in JB city. From the City Lounge you can catch a bus or taxi into Singapore. Not sure on the bus schedules crossing the causeway but taxis are available round the clock. FYI, there are the Malaysian taxis and Singapore taxis at the City Lounge. Fares are around Rm40 and S$40 respectively. The Malaysian taxis are definitely cheaper but they can only take you to another taxi centre in Singapore(I've forgotten the name) while Singapore taxis can take you anywhere. Make sure to ask before taking the taxi. - Nearest hotel to Senai airport is Pulai Springs Resort with its golf course, just a few minutes away. - Nearest hotel to City Lounge is Puteri Pacific Hotel - I would recommend crossing over to Singapore at night as the morning jams on the causeway bridge can be quite bad.

Pulai Spring resorts???Fren, this located at Skudai ... far from Senai airport! The nearest is Sofitel hotel ... few minutes from Senai airport.
The taxi fares to Spore based on passenger .. one taxi cost you SD 32/4 persons. But agree .. not crossing in the morning. there are bus to spore. if you arrived in JB at bus station, just cathc next bus to spore ... yelloe bus (malaysia bus) and red bus (spore bus) .. cost you very cheap but you have to know how to stamp your passport at imigration (you have to leave your bus!). Better take a taxi ...
