its really expensive if you got a cab from the arrival area coz most of the taxis there are "on contract".
NAIA to makati should regularly be just around 200 pesosmax with moderate traffic.i suggest you went up to the departure area to get the regular cab that is not "on contract". unless you do not want to go through all the trouble. hope this helps.

i assume that's an airport taxi right? i got mine for P700 going to ortigas (which is a little bit farther than makati). so of course yours will be less. a regular cab will be less than P200.

A regular (metered)taxi rate from Intl airport to Makati is P180. I suggest that you just take the airport taxis parked just outside the arrival area (left side)of NAIA. Its easier if you have luggages. The rates are on the board and you can ask for receipts. If you only have your backpack then you have to go down and cross the street to get a regular metered taxi which is cheaper of course....Enjoy!

Suffice it to say, if you prefer convenience over "savings", you can easily approach any taxi service at the taxi counters (avis, hertz, dollar, etc) when you exit the arrival area. Its only 550 going to Makati. If you want to save a few hundred pesos, you may go out of the airport area and hail a regular cab. But i don't think it's worth the hassle.

I arrive at the Manila airport real late at night and use the airport taxi for rides to Ermita. Late at night with everything I own with me I will put up with paying a coupe hundred pisos more for added safety.
The last time I used the airport taxi the price was 500 or 525 pisos. I used the taxi service that was outside the arrivals hall, look for the little house on the traffic island. When I used to arrive during the day I would either grab a cab dropping someone off at the departures hall or walk down the hill with my bag and get an empty cab moving by. I pay meter price for that ride! From the hotel to the airport, even at 2 in the morning I have been able to get taxi in Ermita to use the meter and that's the fare I paid him plus a little tip for not killing me!

Carlito, are you serious with your question? It was a form of expression...
