Hello,

I am arriving in Manila next week late at night. My friend told me after I claimed my luggage I should wait for him to Letter T.

If you could provide some infos and directions on how to get to letter T.

Once you claim your luggage then will be you will have to pass thru Immigration with your lugguage, once this is done walk straight ahead to a door going to the outside and ground transportation. Just walk toward that direction, they will be a few 'bell hops' and attandants to help you get a local taxi, well you dont need a taxi for this, but just ask them where the fiance waiting area is its a small area just across the small road, and you can simply walk across its only about 36 feet walking distance. To find your friend easiley, they have everyone in order by the first letter of their name. Just look for the letter you want 'T', walk to that section and call out their name. You will not have a problem and the area is safe, I usually arrive after 11pm. Good luck.

You and your fellow passengers will follow the same route after arrival up to a certain point. There will be a 'T' junction which is split into the first letter of your surname: Turn left for A-N and Turn right for O-Z. So for you, turn right, go down the bendy ramp and there will be people waiting for you.

The second poster has it right. After you've passed thru the immigration and have claimed your luggage, you go down the ramp to wait for your ride. Passengers are segregated by surnames. I guess yours start with a "T". It will help your friend find you faster if you just stay below the sign for "T". :D

route: immigration, then luggage pickup, then customs control then go out of the main door, cross the road and then go down the ramp left or right depending on the initial of your surname, and wait down in the designated area where your surname's initial is indicated. Across the road from where you are standing, your friend should be waiting for you in the greeters' designated area and should also be able to see you waiting for your pasalubong for them.

I would like to add my 2 centavos worth.

After you pass customs there are two sets of glass doors.

Pass through the first set of glass doors. To your right are the money changers and to your left are the ATM machines.

Pass through the second set of glass doors and you will be on a tar roadway. This tar road is for hire car companies and not for relatives and friends to use.

Cross the tar road and you will see two tunnels. Take the right tunnel. This tunnel leads you down to the roadway where you can meet your friends and relatives. The footpath has letters marked from A to Z.

On the opposite side of this road is a fence. Your friends will be waiting behind the fence at the letter T. If you want them to cross the road to meet you, they will have to pay a small fee. Otherwise, cross the road and go through the nearest gate to see your friends.

Otherwise, if you are being collected in a car or van, wait at the letter T and they will pick you up there.
