I am travelling with Irish football fans to Podgorica in September for the match against Montenegro. We will be leaving from Dubrovnik and I would like information on transport from Podgorica to Dubrovnik.

There aren't many direct buses from Podgorica to Dubrovnik, so unless you're lucky with the timing you probably won't get one of those. A more likely option is to get a bus from Podgorica to Herceg Novi - these are very frequent. From Herceg Novi, close to the border, there are maybe 3-4 buses daily to Dubrovnik. Or you could see if a taxi will take you.

If you have time to spare don't miss a stop at Kotor, between Podgorica and Herceg Novi, one of the nicest spots anywhere on the Adriatic.

The Dubrovnik bus station timetable at http://www.libertasdubrovnik.hr/voznired.swf usually shows arrivals, but unfortunately for some reason it is only showing departures at the moment - hopefully they'll bring back arrivals soon. But bear in mind that transport varies a lot depending on the time of year - so if you look at the timetable in August it may appear there are lots of buses, but not all will still run in September.

I know there is only 1 bus daily from Podgorica to Dubrovnik, and viceversa, and from Podgorica it leaves at 6 in morning, and u arrive dubrovnik 11.30 (it is really long ride, since it seems they go all around montenegrin coast to take all possible tourists and then continue for dubrovnik).
As someone already said, it is maybe better to go from podgorica to herceg novi with direct bus, and then over there take bus to dubrovnik.

Herceg Novi - Dubrovnik : every day in 9.30 AM (main bus station in H.Novi),
Dubrovnik - Herceg Novi : every day in 15.30 PM (main bus station in Dubrovnik).
it is close to take taxi from herceg novi to dubrovnik, but take care about that, since they might just be able to take you to border and not further!
