Forum Question Posted By: Replies:
Mumbai Air Deccan
Posted: Wed February 20, 2008 08:34 AM UTC
I am trying to book flights with this website. I'm having the same problem as before. When i enter the details of my home address it's also got a box titled PIN? Does anyone know what this means? I thought it might be postal code but it never accepted it.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

PIN probably means Personal Identification Number.

Do you need to be a member or join up first (did they give you a pin last time)?

It looks like it is a six digit code, perhaps try six digits or send them an e-mail.

Zip Code as in my post code? I have tried this but this has not worked. I will try it again and not put any spaces in between.

Try and select your country first in the scroll down box and then put in your postal code.

I see where they ask you for a password as well so I guess PIN would not mean the same thing as it does here, sorry about that.

PIN is the postal code / zip code. It is possible that the site only accepts Indian pin codes. You could try and contact them via e mail. Also Air Deccan works much better on Explorer tnan on Mozilla. You can get the same fares or very nominally higher at cleartrip.com; ezeego1.com; yatra.com and makemytrip.com.
It may be easier on these sites.

Thanks

I booked with Make My Trip before. Thought the price would be cheaper booking directly through Air Deccan. In acual fact it's the same as on Make My Trip so i will just book it through them. I will look at Yatra first as I have been meaning to look at that sight as it's recommended alot.

Thanks for all the advice.
