I will be arriving to Naples by cruise ship in May. Is it possible to plan to see both Capri & Ischia in one day? I would have from about 9-430pm to see both. I realize that I would'nt have a lot of time for sightseeing, but atleast some great photo opprotunities. If this is possible. How would I go about seeing both?

and where will those amazing photos of yours be posted?

i think you'll have to choose one or the other.

based on our trips to Capri, the ferries and hydrofoils often run behind schedule. On our last trip, the ferry pulled into Capri and hour late and lost even more time while there. Please - do one or the other.

given the ferry schedules as messed up as they are, this is one time you might want to consider a ship-bought excursion. The excursions get priority at the Blue Grotto over independent travellers. You can always break off from the group as long as you get back to Marina Grande for the hydrofoil back to Naples.
