Positano Boat Charter from Postitano
Posted: Tue February 19, 2008 03:18 AM UTC
My husband and I will be taking our first trip to Postitano this May. I would love to spend a full of 1/2 day on the water. Any suggestions on companies that will take us out for a while?

If you stay at the Il San Pietro in Positano, not only will you be surrounded by the utmost care of staff, but have the exquisite elegance of Positano. The hotel has a complementary boat for cruising up the coast that you can only reserve if you stay at the Il San Pietro. Boat or yacht rentals for the day cost more than a two day stay at the hotel. Well, if that was too much of a price point for you, then for a few euros you could take the hydrafoil to Capri or Sorrento.

i don't know the name of a specific company but from experience in the area, make sure you shop around enough and that you see the boat before you get on regardless of what you hear about the legitimacy of the company.
i would suggest a ride out towards the end of the sorrento peninsula where you can stop in at some hidden beaches below torca and on to the baia di ieranto which is amazing.
