i will be in dallas for one full day very soon (tomorrow). does anyone have any recommendations on what to do for the one full day since time is so tight.

Depends on what you like to do.

One possibility - go to the 6th Floor Museum of the Book Depository, go past Dealey Plaza and stop off at Pioneer Cemetery where the cattle drive sculpture is. Then have lunch in Reunion Tower, and either go to Old City Park or Fair Park after lunch.

I also had 1 day in Dallas just a few weeks ago! Luckily, I had friends to show me around. The best part of the day was visiting Fort Worth. So, if you can, that's what you should see.

oops, sorry i forgot to mention that i will not have a car but will rely on public transportation.

Then go to the DART site and check on what transportation there is. I'm pretty sure you can get to the Reunion Tower that way.

You might also take a Dallas tour.

thank you for all the information but i managed to see the arts district, downtown, see the long line for the convention center where barack obama was speaking. i also managed to see the stockyards and the cowtown stock rodeo which i highly recommend.
