I'll be driving from Knoxville, TN and will get there around 1pm. My questions are: 1. Should I park downtown or should I park at one of the Marta's stations and just take subway? If I'll take Marta, which station should I park at and how would I get there? I'll be driving to Douglousville after seeing Aquarium. 2.Could anyone recommend good places, within walking distance from Aquarium, for lunch and dinner? 3. Hello everyone,

I'm planning to be in Atlanta downtown (aquarium) this Friday. I'll be driving from Knoxville, TN and will get there around 1pm. My questions are:

I would recommend driving and parking in the Aquarium lot. It will save backtracking to get your car and then drive to Douglasville. A very good restaurant a little walk is Daileys. It is a nice place. If you want faster food there are lots of options in the CNN Center just across the park. As for safety if you avoid dark streets you should be fine.
