Just wanted to know how's the weather in Leh currently. I want to make a very quick trip to Leh in March end. I will take a jet airways flight to Leh and from there drive to Khardungla for a visit to the highetst motorable road and drive back. Is March end a doable time for this or do i need to do it in later months like June or July?

The best time to visit Ladakh is during summers. The summers in Leh Ladakh stretch from June to September. During this period, Ladakh as well as the nearby areas experience warm and sunny days (with temperature around 20-30 deg C) and delightful nights.
you can visit the place in march there is no problem at all but you can feel the chilly cold weather..for more can visit www.travinfoindia.com thanks

for going to leh you should keep one think in your mind is that there is no guarantee for weather in leh.......you can go to leh by jet air...on march but i would suggest you to go on july.....usually the rainfall in leh is very low but even in the month of july if its rain than rain in leh means snow fall if your lucky u can see snow in july too as i did
