my partner and i are travelling to punta cana on 31st july, i have heard it is the rainy season then?! will this ruin our trip as i was hoping for it fo be nice and sunny for the whole of the two week...
and also, we are staying in the LTI beach resort on bavaro beach just wondering if any one else has stayed there. Would really appreciate your thoughts on the place as we havnt been able to get much information about the place other than the main website ect. thanks for your help. kathryn x |

Hi Kathryn,
My name is Mandy and I live in Punta Cana for the last 10 years! Summer time is especialy very hot and the humidity in the air is very high, therefor it seems even hotter, but it is not the rainy season. Rainy season is in Nov/Dec and May. Ofcourse it will rain sometimes but mostly during the night. I don't know the LTI hotel very well but almost every hotel in Punta Cana is great. LTI has a lot of European guests. My husband and I run a Destination Service in Punta Cana. We offer services like transfers (airport- htl-airport) and excursions where ever you would like to go.
