My husband and I will be arriving in Rio April 4th by cruise ship. We've hired a highly recommended English speaking tour guide. The shared cost for a full day woul be $65.00 per couple. Please reply if anyone is interested and I'll give full details. We will be spending one night in Rio so we've hired him for the next day also.

Wow, Sounds like an exceptionally low cost bid. My wife and I will fly into Rio on March 3, &transfer to the Holland America ship terminal. unfortunately, we will have to board ship same day at 4:00 PM. Would your guide meet you at the ship terminal? we are having trouble getting from the Holland terminal to a day tour? would you mind sharing the name and email contact of your guide.?

Rafael Torres is the name of our guide. He charges $130.00 for an all day tour. It isn't based on per person. Yes, he will be picking us up at the ship terminal. He e-mailed me a photo of his new vehicle. You can find his resume on this website. I think he's the first one listed. His e-mail address is donrafainrio@yahoo.es
He speaks so passionately about his Country. We will be in Buenos Aires over night and Rafael has a tour guide friend that's showing us around there. We are probably taking the same cruise as you except in reverse. We leave Chile March 19 for 16 day cruise ending up in Rio. ENJOY!

Hello Are you only in Rio for the one day? Four of us wil be arriving on the fourth of April and would love to share a tour but will probably be too tired on that day. Are youu booked with your guide for the next day? Irene

Rafael Torres will be our guide on the 4th all day plus that night. He will also guide us the next day then take us to the airport that evening. There may not be room in his vehicle for 6 people. If you will be in Rio April 7, I suggest you try to book him. He's listed on this site.
